Journaling — where thoughts grow sideways
Some people write things down to remember. Others write… to wander.
Journaling, in this version, is not about clarity. It’s about following a thought until it turns into something unexpected.
Alice note (because the page is never flat)
A blank page looks still. But it isn’t. Once you begin, it opens — like a path that wasn’t there a moment ago.
A teacup appears.
A mushroom grows.
A small door you didn’t notice before.
And suddenly: You’re not organizing your thoughts. You’re walking through them.
What kind of journaling is this?
Not structured. Not linear. More like:
- fragments instead of full sentences
- drawings instead of explanations
- symbols instead of conclusions
A thought here. An image there. Nothing fully explained — but everything somehow connected.
Cottagecore Journaling Stickers
These aren’t decorations. They’re… entrances.
- teacups & teapots → pause, reflection, “stay here a moment”
- mushrooms → growth, strange ideas, something slightly off
- basket, home, small objects → grounding, everyday magic
- birds, wings → thoughts that drift away
- mirror → looking at yourself, but not directly
- pocket watch → time that doesn’t move the way it should
- fairy → imagination taking over logic
You don’t place them randomly. You place them where the thought changes direction
How to start (without “starting”)
Don’t plan a page. Instead:
- write one sentence
- add one sticker
- follow whatever it suggests
If you place a mushroom → write something slightly strange. If you place a teacup → pause and reflect. If you place a mirror → ask something uncomfortable.
Let the page respond to itself.
Why it belongs in Wonder Style?
Because this is not productivity journaling. It doesn’t organize you. It reveals you — slowly, sideways, indirectly. Like Wonderland:
Nothing is explained. But everything matters.
Take the Wonder With You
You don’t have to understand your thoughts.
Just follow them long enough to see where they lead.
